Learn how to add a recipe to a meal plan.
You can add your own recipes (previously created) or a recipe from the database to any meal plan.
To add a recipe to a meal plan, follow these steps.
Step 1: Open and edit your meal plan.
Step 2: Navigate to the Overview tab.
Step 3: On the action buttons at the top of the meal plan, click the + Recipe button
Step 4: You now have a couple of options:
- Use my own recipe - if you want to add a recipe that you have previously created to a meal plan.
- Search recipe database - when you want to query the database for a particular recipe
- Advanced search - if you want to use advanced search to find a very specific recipe
Step 5: No matter which option you choose, a modal window will open up where you can choose which meal and day you want the recipe to be added to
Then, depending on the option you chose, you will be able to select the appropriate recipe for the plan.
Using your own recipe
When you use your own recipes, you will be presented with a table listing recipes you have created in the past. You can simply choose the recipe and this will be added to your meal plan.
Searching the recipes database
If you search the recipe database, you will have the opportunity to provide a query and parameters to find recipes in the database.
You will then be presented with results matching your search. You can preview any recipe and click the Select button when ready.
The recipe will then be added to your meal plan.
