Bulk rename foods

You can rename multiple food names in a plan at once with a single action. This is useful when you are translating items to another language, or when you want to shorten/add context to food items in bulk.

To rename meals in a meal plan, follow these steps.

Step 1: Open and edit your meal plan.

Step 2: Navigate to the Overview tab.

For this example, this is how the meal plan looks like before doing anything. You can see that there are several items named Banana in the plan.

Step 3: On the action buttons at the top of the meal plan, click the More button, then click Rename foods

Step 4: A modal window will show up. In this window you can:

• Choose which food name you want to rename (e.g. Banana)
• Type a name you wish to use to replace the previous meal name (e.g. Banana, chopped)

When ready, click the Rename foods button

All matching food names will be renamed to your new name. In this example, Banana was changed to Banana, chopped.

If you have a meal plan with 20-30 days, this feature can save you a lot of time when you need to make changes to the plan in bulk.
